Our "walking
tour" through the Sowie Mountains was a spontaneous one.
Michał came
back from Bieszczady Mountains and since I also had a few days off
we both ended
up on the hiking trail leading to the Great Owl :P

I would say
that the Owls' Mountains are like Tolkien's Middle Earth.
Silent forest
crowded with magnificent trees which look exactly like Ents :)
Just let your
imagination run riot and you will soon find yourself
somewhere in
the middle of Mirkwood, Rivendell or Lothlorien. It's hardly
surprising that
TolkFolks
(= meetings of JRRT fans) are organized in
Bielawa
situated at the foothills of the mountain range :P

I took my
Sister's camera & we did some films during those three days.
You can download them here >>>
film 1

We did many
photo sessions inbetween :P I have to say that my
canon eos 350d
was a really good choice. Photography obviously
doubled the
time we spent walking :P

Michał taking pictures :)

Obviously I was taking pictures of my charming companion as
well :))

We spent lovely evenings sitting in the shelters of the
Sowie Mountains.

Time to chill out...

The Owls' Mountains are somewhat astonishing as far as the
hiking
trails are concerned. It's always better to have your own
map as the
way is very often not marked at all!

Michał would
take EVERY single opportunity to eat blueberries :)
That's why we needed so much time to get anywhere :]

e. and /m.

We took some time to follow local inhabitants of the Sowie
Mountains :)

Instead of sunglasses? :P

And as we were on our way back we decided to eat some fish.
I can
strongly recommend Lesny Dworek in Bielawa. It was so good
that I
wanted to eat everything including a huge 2cm fish bone :/
