So finally we went to Saxon Switzerland again. The weather on Saturday

made us change our plans totally as it rained nearly the whole day.

Sunday morning welcomed me with warm sun and so we set off! Well,

we actually wanted to climb a bit but somehow (due to limited time)

found ourselves on the path leading to Festung Königstein. Massive

castle situated on the top of the rocks. Here is one of the films we've

Quite obviously I took a lot of photos during the trip seeing as the

Autumn colours are amazing at the moment! Anna and Kasia were

pictured every five minutes ;) Well okay, maybe not that often ;P

I don't think I have to comment on the picture below :) We're in the

castle, checking whether the this old equipment is still working...

I even found some bakery :)

This iron map shows the distance between Festung Königstein and

the main cities of Saxony. Dresden is actually only 25 kilometers

away from this place.

On the way back. It's slowly getting late and we wouldn't like to

miss our train! The connection between Dresden and Königstein is

as a matter of fact quite good.

On our way back we stayed at some nice Caffee Zimmermann to chill

out a bit. Hope to come here in some three weeks again. This time

I would FINALLY (!) like to take a route that is more demanding. Perhaps

the one below? Who knows :)
